Your dog or cat is a member of your family, and therefore, I will treat them like a member of my family. I will take the utmost care in ensuring your pet's safety, security, health, and of course, enjoyment, while they're in my care. In order to do so to the best of my ability, there are several points that will need to be discussed upfront and transparently before I accept an animal: (1) If an animal has special needs, i.e., if they need to go out more than typical or if they need to take any medication and exactly how much/how to administer that medication. (2) If a pet is not friendly with other animals or other people (3) If a dog/cat has trouble in cities or isn't leash-trained (4) I cannot accept any dogs or cats that have a tendency to go in the house or any dogs or cats that cannot be left home alone for a work day (i.e., typically breaks/eats things around the house) – please be upfront if your pets are untrained, solely crate trained, or if they have a tendency to cause mayhem around the house. (5) Most importantly, if your pet has any history of aggression or violence, I will not accept them into my care, as I need to regard the safety of my own cat, my boyfriend, myself, and my property above all else. Any harm incurred by your pet to my pet, my boyfriend or myself, my property/my home is unacceptable and your additional payment for any cost of damages would be required. I am 100% transparent about myself, my pet, and my home and I simply ask that other pet owners hold themselves to the same regard and are 100% upfront as well. I will happily help take care of well-behaved, well-mannered, well-trained pets who are comfortable with other animals. To be clear: I do not believe in bad pets, I believe in bad owners. If a pet is misbehaved, it is always the fault of the owner, no ifs, ands, or butts and I know this for a fact from a lifetime of experience looking after and training dogs and cats. If anything were to happen to a member of my family or my home while someone else's pet is in my care, I blame the owner for that and would have no issue taking appropriate action. That said, any dog or cat in my care will be 100% a top priority of mine, and I would ensure the highest level of consideration and care to guarantee their safety, security, and enjoyment. No breed preferences, I love all animals equally! (I dooo have particular and extensive experience with Australian Shepherds, however, and I get a little obsessed over the Wiggle-Butts, just FYI if you have an Aussie. ☺) Your family is my family, and I will treat them with nothing but the love, kindness, and care with which I'd treat my own pets. ❣

I love animals!! I'm that girl who sees any dog on the street, squeals over it, and immediately asks if I can say hi. Having always been around dogs and other pets, I love playing with pets, looking after pets, and just spending time with pets. My boyfriend, who I live with, is the same way. The two of us have frequent and lengthy conversations about all of the animals that we want to add to our family and how soon can we find them. We love taking care of animals, and can't stress enough that we would treat yours as if they are our own family. We would be sure to take extra care to ensure their safety, while also making sure to spend lots of time with them so they feel welcomed and at home. We'll also make sure they get lots of playtime to keep them happy and excited, so they don't miss you too much. I'm also a very fit person, so I'd be happy to take your pets on walks and runs! We also have a very friendly and active cat who would love someone new to play with.
