Pet care experience
Hello there! My name is Nikki :) I am a personal trainer part time which provides me the flexibility towards my schedule. I love dogs of all breeds, and can pretty much adjust to all different dog personalities. I am extremely compassionate and caring. I am careful and patient towards dogs who may be shy or timid. I am extremely playful with dogs who are high energy, as my family has a jack russel terrier. I have had experience caring for him, for 3 full years when I lived at home, and I still come home to walk/feed/play with him. I started dog sitting around 12 years old. Some breeds I have cared for: Golden retrievers Cocker Spaniel Shih Tzu Maltese Poodle mix Large rescue mixes

Nikki LOVES dogs and cats and is just waiting for the right time in her life to have a dog of her own! Any opportunity she gets to be around a dog she jumps at! She comes home just to be with our Jack Russel and to spend time with him. She has house sat for several friend"s pets while they went on vacations and she couldn't have been happier with that arrangement. She will treat your pet just as if it were her own! You can trust Nikki will care for your pet with the utmost of responsibility and follow any instructions you provide her with. I would put my pet in Nikki's care in a second and know that they will be spoiled with love and attention.

I am open to most breeds. I would like to know their habits, behaviors, if they are fearful towards other dogs. Basically, if there are things I need to be aware of beforehand, it is best I know as much possible. My goal is to keep your dog safe, and cared for. I am very aware of what to ask, as my family's jack russel has a lot of anxiety and issues with other dogs, so I can handle most situations. I do not have experience with older dogs, but I don't think that should be an issue as long as I know about them.
A typical day
If there is a nearby trail, I enjoy taking dogs on walks around there. If they are dogs who play well with other dogs, I will go to a nearby dog park. Playing catch, running, and doing tricks they are familiar with are always included!
