Pet care experience
I am a Trained shelter vet technician with years of experience in dog training, dog breeds, and dog behaviors. I have served my community as a puppy foster parent and continue to educate families about pet care and appropriate breeds for different lifestyles. I am an advocate of controlling the pet population by spaying and neutering your pets. After years of raising rescued Great Danes, my home is currently dog free. I own two bossy cats who miss having the activity of our dogs. My two daughters and I are dedicated to educating children and others the importance of pet care and to promote empathy for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Along with teaching classes, we have made several television appearances with our Great Danes.

Nikki was amazing. She met Clay early on and learned about his good (and not so good) habits. I was anxious leaving him with a new sitter, but after her first visit once we were able to enjoy your trip without the added worry about the care of our pets. Nikki sent updates, and went above and beyond, including cleaning the litter box out! I highly recommend Nikki because she is caring, compassionate, and wonderful at what she does. I can't say enough good things about her!
I am very glad we found Nikki on Rover. She came to our house 2 or 3 times prior to our vacation for a meet-and-greet and I liked her instantly. She's very nice and friendly and easy to talk to. We needed her to stop by our house 2 times daily for a week while we were on vacation to look after our 2 twelve-year-old cats. I had concerns because one of our cats requires insulin shots but Nikki was very confident and assured me that everything would be fine and she was right. She did a great job of checking in every day during each visit and sending pictures and letting us know how the cats were doing. I would definitely have her come back and cat-sit for us next time we are out of town!
Nikki was the best! I was so comfortable with her watching Bailey our family dog who is everything to us. Bailey came home happy and relaxed. I will definitely use Nikki in the future!
