Pet care experience
I’ll treat your dog like (s)he is my own. Here is some information regarding my experience with dogs... I had dogs growing up, they also had litters so I am familiar with several stages of a dogs’ life and how they all require different care and attention. Although I am thankful enough to have had dogs in the past, I haven’t recently due to living in a smaller apartment in the city and time restraints. I miss spending time with them and I think animals truly provide so much joy! I look forward to reconnecting with these amazing animals and spending time getting to know your dog.

Nikia is the absolute best!!! She has been walking our two dogs for almost a year. She is reliable, professional, and our dogs adore her. After every walk, they both come home exhausted and with their tails wagging. There is no better dog walker in New Haven.
Nikia is a very trustworthy and reliable person. She is friendly, and patient and had no problem becoming friends with my dog. I know she would take great care of anyones fur babies.
For as long as I have known Nikia, she has been a big animal lover. When Nikia first had an encounter with my dog, my dog instantly felt comfortable with her. My dog is a beagle and they tend to bark a lot and have enormous amounts of energy. Nikia was able to have the upmost amount of patience with my dog and was even able to get him to relax at times. She has always been friendly with animals. I would leave her with my dog for weeks at a time if needed and not have a worry in the world about it. I highly suggest Nikia as dog sitter!

A typical day
When I’m with the dogs I like to treat them as if they were my own. This can consist of walks in the neighborhood or a nearby park, playing with their favorite toys, petting them or whatever their favorite activity is!

Availability
I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My schedule varies but I usually work 2 days a week and have the rest of the days available.
