I have always been an animal lover, rescuing and caring for strays started at a young age for me. Prior to living in NY, I was in South Carolina where my first job as a teenager was in a kennel for boarding. Along the way I met many people that became personal friends and I began house sitting or keeping pets while their owners were away. I have cared for up to 8 dogs in one household and loved every minute of it. I have experience with newborn puppies, and birthing, caring for the mother while pregnant and after birth and just about every other age range up to seniors. I am able to administer oral medications as well as insulin shots and similar medications with ease. In my own home I have a *disabled* husky 2 years old who loves to play and has a ton of energy so we go on regulat walks and trips to the park. My husky only has 3 paws but it doesnt slow him down at all. I have two senior chihuahuas, one of which is blind and i have set up proper bumbers and gates to keep him on track and safe. I am no stranger to dogs that require a bit of extra work, animals bring happiness to my life and I love being able to help where help is needed. (Rates are per animal and for house sitting per animal per night.)
