I was born and raised in Mumbai. My mother and I used to rescue/foster stray dogs, cats, pigeons, turtles, etc (she still does it). I have spent a majority of my life around animals. During my time in Canada, I lived with my friends who have 4 dogs and 3 cats for a few years in St. Catharines. Since then, I rescued a cat who lives with me in Hamilton. I would love to spend my leisure time walking dogs. I get along with dogs and have previous dog walking/training experience being around my father, who was a professional dog trainer. My comfort zone is around animals. I have studied and worked in the hospitality industry and would love to provide some service to our four legged friends. Please do not hesitate to message even if my calendar shows unavailable. I'd be happy to accommodate if it fits in my schedule for that day.

Nikhil had me at "I like animals more than people". Very confident with dogs and years of experience in different facets with them, someone who understands dog language is something I value. He is my go to man when I need boarding!!
Nikhil is amazing. I completely trust him with my little guy and he is always happy to see him! He is extremely accommodating to my pick up and drop off needs and always sends lots of updates and videos and photos. I use him for all my walks, fay boarding and overnights. Highly reccomend!!!
Great sitter. Jax was always so happy when I got home and I always had tons of photos to look at after his visit. He was good about locking up my house and was always on time. Highly reccomend!

I prefer to do a meet and greet with dog parents and talk about dog behaviour and needs before accepting the requests. I believe transparency is very important and I try to keep an open line of communication as much as possible

I am open to give every animal a chance as long as the dogs are okay with the environment I provide. I have a cat and his safety and happiness is my top priority so I usually keep dogs in a seperate room if they are not friendly with cats or avoid taking such requests. I prefer when owners give details about what they expect in terms of socializing , muzzle habits, treats, peeing and pooping habits.
A typical day
Depends on the owners and the dog's preference. I go for walks by the Bayfront, dog parks if your dog likes playing with other dogs, I can walk him downtown if he/ she loves people.

Availability
I work full time in a restaurant so I usually accept requests on my days off when I have free time and can focus on hanging out with the dogs. I usually let owners know if I have short term plans when sitting their animals and make sure they are comfortable with situations.
