Hi! My name is Nika. I grew up around pets; cats, dogs, birds, fish, horses, rats, ferrets and even a hamster here and there. I’ve been helping animals my whole life and I’d love to help yours! I also used to work at a cat café, which gave me skills in administering a wide range of medicine to pets.

Nika helps take care of our four cats with me! She values her time with them and tries to spend as much time with them as she can. They are all super attached to her. She tries her best to groom them often. She grew up with dogs and helps me take care of my sister’s pup as well. Overall, I think she’s more than equipped to be an animal caretaker!
Nika G is an above and beyond caregiver for my cat Eco when I have to work my 12 hour shifts. Nika makes Eco a nice little bed (snuggling him with his favorite blanket), follows the precise dietary restrictions/requirements I have for him, and makes sure he is always kept in good company! :) Not only that, but Nika has pointed out on numerous occasions how to treat assorted ailments he may be able to get treated at home with a follow up vet appointment if necessary. I cannot say enough how intelligent, caring, and loving Nika is as an animal caregiver. 10/10 ✨👍✨

Currently, I have 4 cats at home, the oldest being 14 and blind; he has daily meds administered and frequent vet visits. Needless to say, I’m well-versed in all different kinds of pet needs. Previously, I’ve taken care of a wide range of dog breeds for family and friends, including Yorkie mixes, Dachshunds, Pitbulls and Husky/German Shepherd mixes. I can’t have dogs come over because my cats would understandably be a bit peeved, and our apartment does not have a fenced-in yard.

Like I said before, I want to give your pet the care they need and would love to learn more about any quirks, behaviors or preferences they may have, as well as just necessary medical info to keep in mind while I'm watching them.
A typical day
I definitely like to learn more about a dog's specific preferences on walks by talking to the owner, but aside from that it's a great time to just stroll around the neighborhood and discover the little things I might miss when I have another pair of unique eyes with me.
