Nicolle and her family take great care of our dog. He has a medical condition and takes medications three times a day. I trust Nicolle completely to take care of our little guy.

We were nervous about boarding our 1-year-old pup Yeti as he is sometimes sensitive and nervous meeting new people and in new situations. We were concerned that the initial intensity of placing him in a large-scale boarding operation could negatively impact him long term, so we searched Rover for local Sitters that would take him into their homes in a more personalized and calmer setting. We met with several local Sitters who all seemed like good fits, but Nicolle stood out as the best fit for our immediate needs involving a process of slowly integrating over several stays of increasing lengths of time. We agreed to start out with a short daytime stay just to familiarize him with his new "surrogate family" and their pets. Nicolle said he did very well and he came home with no signs of distress at all from the experience, so we then scheduled a full day visit to see how he would react to sleeping overnight and eating in a new place. Again, all feedback was positive, and he came home showing no distress from the longer experience. We believe that Nicolle and her family treated our dog as their own during his stay and appreciated their sending some pictures/updates to help ease or minds during the stay. Their dogs seem well adjusted to hosting dog visitors and we believe that having interaction with other dogs during the stay is very beneficial. They also have a large, fenced-in back yard for safety allowing ample room for unleashed play. We are now more comfortable knowing our pup has a degree of familiarity there that should make each subsequent visit less stressful on him. That will afford us peace of mind planning future vacations and even having an option in place for emergencies.
