Pet care experience
I have always had a variety of pets growing up that I adored and helped care for such as chickens, rabbits, ferrets, rats, birds, and of course cats and dogs. I am a huge animal lover! In my early adulthood while attending college I spent a few years volunteering at the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. I have taken several dog behavior classes at the shelter, and I’ve completed an eight week obedience program with my current dog. I’m confident around dogs and have a firm understanding of how they communicate and how best to help them be happy :) I'd love to hang around, play fetch, or take your dog out on walks - I'm open to maintaining whatever routine/lifestyle the dog is normally used to. I typically take my dog out for walks around 10am, midday, then again around 5pm. He’s an active guy! He’s been to the dog park weekly throughout his 5 years of life so he’s well socialized.

I’ve owed Nicolette a 5-Star review since for quite awhile now! She watched my little rescue dog, Buddy overnight back in November of 2014, just one week after I adopted him. Needless to say, I was worried to leave him with anyone when I was unable to bring him on the overnight trip to Lake Tahoe for a wedding. After asking some friends for recommendations, I found out about “DogVacay,” (now Rover). I reviewed profiles of potential dog sitters and I immediately liked Nicolette‘s, and ultimately selected her. She was so great! She knew I was nervous to leave Buddy, so she sent several updates and pics to me throughout the night I was away. I tried to book her again shortly after she watched Buddy, but unfortunately, she was taking finals at the time and was unable to watch Buddy. I would definitely recommend her as someone you can trust to look after your pet!

Very happy with my dog's stay. Nicolette was professional, reliable, and paid close attention to my dog's needs and also provided socialization and play time besides daily walks. She sent picture updates so I knew how he was doing. I highly recommend her services! =)
Just perfect. Everything went so well,enabled us to go out for a wonderful evening with no worry. Cannot thank Nicolette enough for taking such good care of our little boy.

I have a fenced backyard for potty or playtime. I have one male dog to keep yours company and they’re allowed full range of the house, furniture included. Never left outside unattended, my dog does not enjoy being left in the backyard.

A typical day
I have two routes I like to walk in my neighborhood that are about a mile each. I also can play fetch in the house or the yard. Your dog and mine are free to roam about the home or nap together.

I work from home and take my doggy out a few times a day for short (1 mile) walks, so I’d be happy to add a few into the mix for weekday doggy daycare.
