Pet care experience
Since birth, I have been around dogs. I am a huge animal lover and currently have two dogs of my own; a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix and a German Shepherd! I am an animal rights activist and believe they all deserve the most love and compassion possible! I understand animals are like family, so I take pride in my work. I am very active, so walks and playing are very enjoyable for me! I am different from other sitters because I truly value my time with animals. I won't just show up and pour food in a bowl for money. I understand that for many, dogs are more like fur babies than just a pet! I will love on them and give them attention because I truly want them to enjoy their time while their family is away. I value the companionship not just the monetary value.

We are so happy to have found Nicolette. We knew there would be some transition leaving our dog with someone new. She was gentle and patient and Bear warmed up to her quickly. He became more comfortable with each visit. We love getting pictures and updates during her visit. We Highly recommend Nicolette!

Nicolette has watched my dog several times and she has been fantastic. She is very accommodating, reliable, observant, and clearly cares for the animals she watches. Traveling is much easier when you can book Nicolette.
Nicolette is absolutely wonderful with Cody. He takes a bit to warm up to strangers, and she was incredibly patient with him, respecting his boundaries and helping to make him feel comfortable. Once she has the leash they get along famously. Nicolette's always on time and great with my dog. It's easy to recommend her to anyone. Thanks Nicolette!!! :)

I love all dogs, so no breed restrictions here! I would like to know if the dog gets along well with other dogs and also if they are on flea medication. Dog parks can be pretty infested, so I would just avoid them if the dog wasn't. Also, just a run down on any medications I would have to give them and any special needs they may have!
A typical day
It all depends on the dog! If the dog is comfortable around others, dog parks are always a great option! However, one of my dogs was a rescue, so I understand some don't mingle well with others. In that case, a walk around a neighborhood is always great or finding an empty park to throw a ball in would be an option.
