I am an ABC certified dog trainer and groomer with both professional and personal experience caring for animals. I previously worked for WAG hotel and PetSmart pet hotel and have been caring for animals my whole life. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds and all sizes. Apart from dogs and cats, I also have experience with snakes, geckos, birds, and rabbits. I currently work 8-5 M-F, but can always accommodate drop-in visits before or after work and can be flexible on weekends. I look forward to hearing from you! Nicolette is a literal dog whisper. We have two rescue pups and they can be a bit wary around strangers, but our dog that thinks everyone is sus immediately loved her. I cannot stress this enough, he barks at everyone, but not Nicolette. We've had Nicolette watch the pups several times and I haven't worried about the dogs while she's watching them. 100% recommend!

Nikki is fantastic - we were very lucky to have found her. She is highly reliable, very communicative and always remembers to send a summary of her visits along with photos which we really appreciate. We always have peace of mind leaving our kitties at home knowing Nikki is visiting them.

I always try to conform to a pet's current routine as much as possible to reduce stress and will allow the pet to choose the activity as well. I will not try and force a pet into something they don't enjoy and will adjust to fit their needs.

Please please please let me know as soon as you reach out if your dog is in any way, shape, or form aggressive. Whether it be food aggression, aggression towards specific genders, or aggression towards other dogs or animals. I reserve the right to decline a booking after aggression is disclosed or if I observe any signs of aggression during the meet and greet.
A typical day
Until your pet is comfortable with me, I try to stick to known walking routes or allow them to pick where we go so we can establish trust. After getting permission and knowing the behavior of your pet, I would always enjoy taking them to close-by walking trails. I will never take your dog to a dog park, even with explicit permission because you just never know what may happen.

Availability
I currently work full-time, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday; while I can't accommodate midday walks or visits, I am always able to go and visit your pets before and after work. I also have weekends off, so I am always able to make it work on weekends. As of now, I can only provide house sitting on select weekends, Friday evening through Sunday evening.
