I've always been an avid dog-lover, having grown up in a household with two energetic poodles. These days, I enjoy showering love on my own dog, a four-year-old pit bull rescue from Centre County PAWS. I joined Rover in 2016 as a way to earn some extra money while experiencing the joy that dogs bring. Your dog is a member of your family—I get it. You can trust me to care for your dog as though he or she were my own. I work full time as a writer/editor for Penn State's Office of University Development during the week but am available on the weekends and some holidays. This was my first time using Rover.com and I was a little apprehensive of having someone not familiar staying with my pet. Nicolette did a fantastic job and I felt at ease leaving my little dachshund with her. She kept in touch with me during the visit which gave me peace of mind while I was away.
I felt very comfortable with Nicolete taking care of the dogs. She even sent me a selfie of her and the dogs, which I need when I am traveling, just to make me feel better.
Nicolette cared for my 5 mo. old puppy and did such a wonderful job! She gave him lots of love, attention and exercise-- and also shared pictures and updates with me throughout! I was confident that Linus was in good hands, comfortable and happy while I was away. I highly recommend Nicolette as a responsible and caring sitter for your pet! :)
Nicolette watched my Boston Terrier, Dr. Watson, for an entire weekend recently. I was new to the area, and very nervous about leaving him, but as soon as I met Nicolette, she put me at ease. Watson was so well cared for that I worried when I came home he might prefer her to me! Watson got exercise, love, and Nicolette even taught him a few things. We are still working on "drop it," but are making great progress because of Nicolette's help. I can't recommend her enough, and I'm sure that Watson can't wait to see her again soon.
