City-bound country-girl misses dogs

*I am vaccinated.* I was lucky enough to grow up in the wide-open middle-of-nowhere in Northern California, where we had a constantly growing menagerie of beloved pets (dogs, horse, peacock, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens, too many to name, etc.) I came to San Diego for college in 2001, and while I love this urban ocean city, I miss all the wonderful pets I used to have, especially dogs and the playfulness and joy that they specifically engender. To fill this need, I have spent the last 10 years or so caring for friends and friends of friends dogs while they are away or in need of any care. Most recently I have had the joy of caring for a very sweet and tennis-loving golden doodle. Past doggie care cuties have included lots of lovely mixes/mutts of all sizes, German Sheperds, Boxers, Golden Retrievers, and a bull dog, to name a few. I also have my own little sweetie, a Boston Terrier named Popsicle.

Nicolette was awesome! For one, I super appreciate her flexibility as far as my schedule goes- I work in an appointment based industry, and have a small child, so sometimes things run a little overtime with my schedule. But! Nicolette came down for a meet n greet before our scheduled sitting date, and the pups instantly took a liking to her. Freddie and CJ were excited to see her again when she came back for the scheduled time, and really seemed happy to have her around! She also sent some *adorable* photos for us. Absolutely recommend!
Nicolette is a fabulous pup sitter and did great watching our 90 lbs pitmix for two full days! She has such a bright and warm energy - we felt very comfortable leaving her with our baby. She is very responsive, punctual and sends messages/photos while watching our dog. We HIGHLY recommend Nicolette and we will definitely rebook her for future sitting needs!
We are so happy we reached out Nicolette. Our animal seemed like he was well taken care of while we were gone with limited cell service. Nicolette was respectful to our home and always made sure to keep is updated. We will definitely be using her again!
Best Rover experience ever with Nicolette! She was amazing with Ameika and went way above and beyond to make sure my 14 year old pup was happy the entire time I was gone. Seriously could not recommend her more!!

Their favorite activities, treats, toys, places to go. Also, what might trigger or scare them. What they do when they are scared, etc. and of course their medical history. As for preferences, while I love all dogs, I have a special fondness for labs (as I grew up with so many) and I am currently obsessed with how cute pugs and french bulldogs are, but I really love all dogs except for chihuahuas. They are just so small and shakey and make me feel like I would brake them. Props to people who have them, they are just not for me.
A typical day
I love going to the dog beach in Ocean Beach and watching all the dogs play and interact. The dog park in Balboa Park is also one of my favorites; it allows so much room for everyone to roam. I've had and dog-sit many a dog obsessed with tennis balls, so catch is a classic activity for me.
