Pet care experience
All I can say is that my life has been filled with many dogs, all different, and all enriched my life. Dogs are companions like no other. The following are 2 of my favorite quotes about dogs that I would use to describe my life’s experiences. “There’s nothing truer in this world than the love of a dog.” “I needed a hand, and I found your paw.”
Reviews
My dog loves visiting and spending time with Nicole. She goes above and beyond loving my Rocky like he was her own. She always has toys for him to play with and the occasional treat.

I will share some background about my current dogs. I currently have 2 small dogs of my own. Our community has a great walking path and I walk my own dogs at least 2 times a day. I also take them to the dog park. They do out on leashes/harnesses. As an owner I understand the importance that to best care for each dog one must consider their personal needs. I think it’s key to get to know each individual animal’s temperament, personality, likes, dislikes, and fears. My two are strays and while they have completely opposite personalities, both have things from the past that have impacted them. I want animals to feel safe and would never put them in a situation that would jeopardize their or another dogs safety. I want dogs to trust me, but understand that sometimes it takes a lil while for that to happen and that’s ok. When we went to the pound to look at dogs, I immediately spotted Trixie (my blonde)....I knew I was taking her home. We looked at another dog, my Penelope Rose. She stood in the corner trembling and peed on the floor. I attempted to talk to her and pet her, but was afraid she’d bite me so didn’t push it. Penelope had been at the pound for months. Came in a as stray and she had heart worm. She was also pregnant with 1 puppy. Her heartworm couldn’t be treated for months until she had and then nursed her puppy. She also had multiple other health issues that were treated while at the pound. I told my husband I just didn’t think we could take her..I have a young son and feared she would be a fear biter. My husband then told the employee standing there we’d take both dogs. The second we set Penelope down in our home she has not left my side....and she is wonderful with my son. Ironically she is not a fan of my husband. Penelope runs the show, we laugh often how this timid little dog has transformed into a sassy diva. Again, each dog and owner has their own system of what works for them. My dogs are rarely home alone, but crate trained for when they are. My dogs don’t dread their crate, it’s a safe place that’s theirs and they often rest in their during the day. I’ve grown up with dogs who’ve had cancer, seizures, diabetes, and raging allergies who all needed special care. In caring for your pet I would do my best to ensure consistency for your pet. I’m the ridiculous dog mom that purchases every accessory I possibly can. I love spoiling my dogs.....they deserve to be spoiled.
