I’ve always been surrounded by animals growing up. My family has cared for chickens, goats, ducks, cats and dogs, but I’ve always had a deeper love for dogs. A year ago I decided to purchase a golden retriever because I was finally able to begin moving on from my last dogs passing. I have quickly grown attached to him. His name is flick. Flick is such a spoiled doggo and he is so smart and goofy. He knows so many tricks and is always open to learn new ones, as long as mom provides whipped cream or treats. I really can’t imagine my life without him and I don’t know how I was living without him before. I wish I could take in more dogs, my house would be full. I’m definitely that person that has to pet a doggo when I see one. Humans are so lucky to be able to share the planet with dogs.
