My husband and I had an elder Doberman who was sweet and loving, but passed away due to a neck condition. We miss her dearly due to it being so recent. We also had 2 elder dogs (Doberman and Jack Russell) that passed away a year ago due to medical complications and/or old age. We have plenty experience with caring for dogs and administering medication if needed for your baby. We live on an acre 1/2 with a fenced in backyard. Plenty of space for your baby to play and run around. If you choose to let us watch your dog, they'll be inside with me or my husband during the day unless they're on a potty break outside, which we'll be outside with them. We have 3 sweet cats also that keep to themselves and get along with any dog. We also have 3 daughters btwn ages 4-8 that love being around animals.
