Pet care experience

The best part of this job is that each time we have a new fur baby stay with us, they become part of our family and hearts. Rest easier on your well-deserved get away or business trip knowing your adored pup is being loved and cared for. Your dog will be engaging (with both humans and other dogs) all day, is welcome anywhere in the home, and won't be crated (unless he/she feels safe in their private space and you as an owner bring their crate). We live in a relatively new single family home quiet neighborhood with Charles River access and have a safe, fenced yard with a nice mix of sun and shade. Our house is very comfortable with central air conditioning during the warm summer days. You will receive pictures throughout the stay of your happy dog having a great time of playing in the yard or taking a siesta…whatever their vacation vibe is! Our goal is that your dogs gets a vacation while YOU are on vacation! I am a responsible, elementary school teacher looking to add some smiles to my day by taking care of your pet in your absence. It will be my pleasure to pamper, play and fawn over your dog until he or she is back in your loving arms. Our house is dog-centric, as dogs and humans are in interaction all day. I love all aspects of caring for dogs, from walks to "couch-potatoing" at night, to playing tug of war or nonstop games of throwing the tennis ball! We are a "puppy home" at this time! We have two active, high energy pups: a puggle named Sushi and a "jug" (Jack Russell/pug) mix named Sake. They are happy, social little fellas that get so excited to have visitors and sleep overs with dog friends! They are babies so they have tons of puppy energy and may not be a great fit for a dog that prefers a quiet home. We don't crate dogs (unless your pup likes their privacy and enjoys their crate, then please feel free to bring), and our goal is to create happy "mini packs" and your dog enjoys his/her new canine friends. It's amazing to watch dogs of different sizes, ages and breeds come together and bond, not matter how long or short the stay! For the health and welfare of all dogs, we require proof of rabies, distemper and bortadella. Uploading a picture or scanning certificates into your pet's profile is acceptable. Dogs have their choice of where they would like to relax and slumber. Couches and beds are of course included. You can look forward to seeing photos of your pup during his/her stay, as I love catching them being adorable and am thrilled to pass the pictures on to you! Thanks for stopping by, check out some of my reviews and photos, and I hope to meet you and your pup soon! Our typical day is wake up, head outside for a bathroom break, eat breakfast and playtime in the yard or house if it is raining. The fenced yard makes it very easy for pups to take potty breaks as needed! In the evening, we generally will go for our walks on the trails behind my house. Dogs are treated like VIP'S and welcome everywhere that humans are! My large fenced yard...lots of shade as well for warm weather...allows pups that enjoy the outdoors to have plenty of time in the fresh air. Your dog will enjoy romping in the trails and conservation land with me, Sake and Sushi in the afternoons and mornings...or for the older more mature set, they may enjoy a jaunt in the fenced yard and sunning on our deck. We have a large shaded and completely fenced yard, as well as central air conditioning, to keep your pet comfortable. Dogs are never left outside unattended.

Nicole and Paul are the only people we trust with our 2 boys. It is their home away from home and are treated like royalty! We get so many amazing pictures and the communication is everything we need when we miss our furry friends!

Nicole is such a great host as always to our two dogs (9 and 1). She treats them like hers, sends lots of great pictures and updates, and my dogs are always sad to leave and are extremely exhausted when coming back home. 100/10!

Absolutely the best!! This is the 4th time I've left my babies with Nicole. She is amazing. This last trip was for 2 weeks. She sent me multiple pics daily and I could see my babies were very well taken care of and happy. My bulldog is on a special diet and meds, which she took care of. I couldn't be happier and will always use her services. She took my babies in like her own and they loved her pups too. They are the sweetest. If you are looking for a safe, healthy and fun place to leave your pups while you are away, I 100% recommend Nicole.

Information Nicole W. would like to know about your pet

1. Your dog MUST like other dogs! We typically host several dogs or have day care dogs coming and going-all dogs must enjoy canine company! Our premise is we keep it "family style" ( we don't crate, unless your dogs LOVES their crate and you bring his/hers) so we are only able to accept well socialized dogs. 2. Some details about your dogs personality. What does he/she like best? What is he/she afraid of? What are preferred activities? Where do they like to sleep? 3. Any health issues or precautions I should take to make your pets stay safe and comfortable. 5. Dogs MUST be housebroken since this is a home environment. We cannot accept dogs that "mark. Please understand that if your dogs "marks" or has frequent accidents during his/her stay we will put on a "belly band"as we cannot have marking in our home. 4. We unfortunately cannot accept pittbulls or pittbull mixes or any other bully (ex: American Bulldog) breed, German Shepards, Dobermans, Rotweillers, Cane Corso, or Bull Mastiffs. 6. A meet and greet is REQUIRED prior to all bookings. A meet and greet is a brief meeting at our home that allows both the dogs and humans to be introduced and to assure the dogs are a good match. They are typically about 15 to 20 minutes. For safety purposes, we are unable to permit children under the age 18 years to any meet and greets. 7. Boarding days are booked for a 24 hour timeframe. For example, if drop off on Arrival Day is at 8 AM, pick up on Departure Day would be no later than 8 AM (24 hours). If your travel plans require you to pick up your pet later on Departure Day, we make every effort to accommodate your needs. However please note that a $25 day care fee will be assessed to stays over 24 hours. 8. For efficiency and proper scheduling, drop offs on arrival day and pick ups on departure day are by APPOINTMENT ONLY and need to be established at the time of booking. 9. To ensure the safety and proper introduction of dogs, all drop offs and pick ups will be conducted outside in our fenced yard. Safety/Security for all of our clients is our utmost priority. To limit the chance for an exterior door to be left open, and it is safest for all to trade hands outside. Dogs also have a chance to relax outside, go for a walk and slowly meet other pet guests. Simply text our Rover number when you arrive for drop off and we will be right outside to meet you!
