(🙂Heads up! I legally went back to my birth name Ashley after 4 years! I am going to try to change it on Rover if it will let me. Sorry for any confusion of people addressing me still by Nicole in my Rover reviews! 🙂) I love animals with a passion. I rescued my bff Sia, 9 now, from a terrible former life and my horse who I had for a short 2 and a half years but was everything to me. I recently adopted a 16 year old cocker spaniel in my Marley’s memory. He is the best thing to ever happen. He was dumped at a shelter because of his age. But he now knows I am home and I am his Mama for the rest of his journey on earth. I love him so much and am grateful how it worked out how I found my way to him. I also have my beloved girl Sadie Mae, who is 16 now. It hurts my heart to mention I lost my third girl Marley though oh March 31st of this year. My vet and I introduced a way to remember her recently and I would love to share that story with you if we meet and I watch your pup. 🥲 I always have had a deep love for animals since I was little and I love caring for them. I have all my reviews and wrote a long profile just to drive home exactly how much animals mean to me in my life. Yes it helps out to make a little from doing it so I can make sure my dogs get their heart medications and I can get little things for our little girl when needed, but truth is it comes down to my love for them. If I didn’t need the little bit of financial help I can give towards our own dogs and baby girl I would absolutely do this for free. Without question. When I’m grey haired I want to have the room to foster and adopt high kill shelter animals. I want to make an actual real difference for animals one day if we are given the chance and hope my baby girl will have that same heart about them one day. It helps my depression and just makes me feel better being around them. Animals are healing, I love them so much and we help each other. They need us. We need them. I’ll never believe otherwise. ❤️ Okay. This is LONG I know, and I’m sorry in advance! But I’d rather you know as much about me so you know who you’re considering. I would want the same when I need someone to trust to watch my furry baby girls. I watch all animals FULL TIME!! Every breed is welcome. Pitbulls are my love and also a regular visitor, a pug named Dublin, who is now considered like part of our family. I only leave if I absolutely have too. I refuse to leave animals entrusted in my care any longer than 1 hour if that happens, otherwise they are with me the complete entire time so please be assured of that!! Big and small, I love animals with a passion! I can’t even explain how much! I love taking care of people’s beloved animals; and our own fur kids whom I love with all of me, because everyday their little presence brings me such joy and helps me forget when I am feeling off or not myself. They’ve saved me so many times in the past and I don’t think I could I’ve made it without them beside me through it all. Dogs depend on us and what a privilege we have been given to care for them. I never thought it would be a regular thing. I was worried I wouldn’t get any calls! But I’ve gotten to bond with each dog. That’s the hard part. When they go. Every dog I’ve had is a treasure and a joy. I will forever be proud of the fact that half my heart belongs to animals. ❤️❤️ Regarding their care, I have to make sure this is priority to be seen. I hope you understand as I only want the best and safest environment for any animal in my care . *****Please note: DOG(S) MUST get along with other dogs. I want to say yes to every single dog because I love all dogs! but to be safe, there must be little to no aggression problems if boarding at my house as I have dogs of my own. (This is for the safety of ALL the dogs in my care, not just my own!) ❤️ I offer a second option in that case which is I am more than happy to give fulltime care to your beloved furkids at YOUR home which often relieves the dogs stress and separation anxiety if they struggle with that as they are in their own environment!) Whichever makes you, the owner, most comfortable. That is my priority for taking care of and keeping all dogs safe if you are unsure of any socialization or aggression issues so your 4-legged sweetheart(s) are cared for in the best environment for them! ❤️ } ♥️ I stand by my own quote that dogs have less time to give us than we have to give them so embrace every single moment. Every single wag. Every single heartbeat. Anyone who knows me especially my husband and family can tell you this. I love animals more than anything. Honestly more than people. They give us all their heart and we owe them ours. I used to be a huge animal advocate and was involved with our spca functions and events and did rescue for awhile but stepped away from it years ago because it made my depression worse. I am extremely!! sensitive to animal suffering so I try to avoid Facebook posts about it and watching the news. It will bother me to no end for weeks! So I try to not see that stuff now. :( I probably love and treat animals better than I do people! I won’t ever miss a dog movie that comes out even though they always make me cry. The passion for animals is strong for me. It always has been since I was a kid. We have 3 dogs of our own (two are rescues) but they get along with all dogs. I do prefer to stay at a clients house though as I absolutely understand and encourage that as that is where your family member is most comfortable because they are in their own environment. But our dogs are very sweet and mild tempered and get along with everyone if you do wish to drop them off at our house. I collect and love anything to do with dogs. We recently moved to the area. I am originally from Vancouver Canada and pet sit for many friends up there for the last couple years before I got married two years ago. I am most happy surrounded by animals than people. I can give you character references as being new to Indiana we don’t know anyone here yet. But I am more than happy to make you feel secure and comfortable about leaving your beloved family member with me either at your house or ours, while you are away. I don’t like people who just go to a clients and sit around. That’s not caring for someone’s pet in my opinion. Interaction, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention and stimulation is important and that’s what I would want for my own dogs if someone were to watch them. You’re caring for my dogs. It’s part of the service so I would want you to be assured that care is exactly what they would get. I tend to get attached to clients animals once I get regular clients so be assured the love is real and I want you most importantly, to feel comfortable about who is taking care of your baby because that is your family member! I will happily send picture updates while watching your furbaby, whatever may help reassure you and make you comfortable!l You need to know they are being well cared for! I treat every animal as if they are my own. That’s how it should be if you’re offering to care for someone’s furry loved one. Trust is gradually built but again whatever I can do to ease your anxiety while you’re away I am more than happy to comply to make you feel safe about who you are leaving her or him with. I understand that 100% as I always want that reassurance with my own. Sorry for the rambling profile but I hope you will consider me. *I am able to do this full time as I struggle with chronic anxiety so I do not work so this lets me be around animals all the time which helps me just as much. ❤️••• I am SO sorry this was so long! How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?” } ****Please note I hated to do it but I had to increase the rates due to Rovers high fees! :( I am available full time as I am a stay at home mom with a 1 year old. The dogs become part of the family while they are here and are very much treated as family. (I get very attached easily!!) 🥺 In between taking care of our 1 and a half year old, the dogs are constantly doted on and given care and due attention. Also lots of cuddles constantly. They also get a lot of love from our little girl Georgia while here too :) (she is extremely gentle with them!) I have a large fended in yard and they are always supervised and given plenty of attention. They have regular feeding schedules and I apply any instruction given to me by the owner including feeding times, any medicine administration, etc. Side note-My little girl who is 18 months has grown up with dogs since she was born, she has always been around them. We have taught and continue to educate and teach her to be very gentle loving and respectful with all creatures. She is very sweet with all dogs. I want her to carry that trait and love with her through life. Just a poem I wanted to share that is close to my heart. POEM OF A DOG I am the one who always waits for you. Your car has a special sound that I have imprinted on my senses, I can recognize it among a thousand. Your steps have a magic timbre. Your presence is my comfort. If I can still see and feel your joy, it makes me happy! Your scent is the best. If I am old now and cannot see you, I know you are still with me. Your presence is what moves my senses. I feel you next to me asleep and for me you are all I have ever loved and had to look forward too. Your love and gentle hand is peace to my soul. Your hands on me have the sublime display of infinite love. When you go out, I feel a huge emptiness in my heart. I wait for you again and again. I am the one who will wait for you all my life like I always have. Today, tomorrow and always. Even when I must say goodbye. Don’t worry. I will be waiting for you. Full time loving care as I am a stay at home mom Of 2 furbabies and 1 2 year old little girl 💕 I i ok not leave for a short time like if it’s dr appointment or groceries. That’s about it. :)! I have a fully fenced yard and they are always supervised when they’re outside. They get all the love and cuddles here and extra treats if allowed! The couch is all theirs to stretch out on as well. I always let them sleep with me on the big bed too! As long as they’re comfortable and if they have any anxiety I give them space and patience to come around. It usually only takes one night for them to settle down if they’re very anxious in a new place. I am a stay at home mom so I am able to follow a routine easily. Meds, food, etc. My little girl adored animals like me and allows me to still watch dogs full time as she is such a good girl and part takes in helping me. (Little supervised jobs like pouring food into their bowls or giving them a treat). I only leave the house for two appointments twice a week but that is all. If o have to run out and they are okay to be kenneled temporarily for a very short time I usually do that. I have a large fenced yard and lots of room for the dogs to run and play. If any hesitation I will always keep them on leash if requested. I am a full time stay at home mom with fur babies of my own as well. My full attention is caring for my 2 year old and my dogs and those I have stay with me. I can multi task well :) I LOVE animals so this is no issue for me at all! I am taking less than 3 dogs at one visit now though. 💜 I have a fully fenced yard! They are always supervised when outside! They are well cared for and get lots of love and attention. Nobody is left out!! Re guy lad feeding times and water is always available with ice lol! My daughter has also been raised to be very gentle and loving to all animals! I can no longer unfortunately watch pups at a clients house now since I have a toddler now.
