Pet care experience
I love animals, and have had years of experience with many varieties, including owning my own dogs, a quarter horse, an african grey parrot, and cats. All dogs are puppies in my eyes, they're enthusiastic, just want to have fun and be loved all the time, as much as possible, and I would like to do that when you can't. I grew up with a Shetland Sheep dog, who taught me so much before she left. I've been sitting for other people's pets for years, between my aunts' rescue dalmations a few weekends a year for trips, watching a friend's older doxie who needed help walking, sitting for friends when they're on their honeymoon for a few weeks, etc. I have experience caring with young dogs, older dogs, seeing eye dogs, and every other dog in between. I volunteered at a local animal hospital in Vineland throughout high school, and have been trained in administering medications of all sorts due to this experience, however I am not a certified technician, I just know and understand the process. I am a certified English teacher in the tri-state area, however. Currently, I am in a full-time grad school program at La Salle that has evening classes during the week. During the regular work week, I am a payroll administrator, so right now, my availability to sit is limited to the weekends, unfortunately, unless you need services to walk or check in around lunch time, I work in Williamstown, so that can be an option as well. During breaks, like summer and the winterim, I do open my availability with school not there to take up that time a little more. I am open to having dogs over at my place as a low-key boarding situation if you need to go out for a weekend. I do have a teenage cat, but he just plays or hides under the bed and no one seems to mind him other than his food bowl. If your pup isn't super cat friendly I would be a bit wary in accepting them into my home, but still feel free to contact me about it! Please don't hesitate in asking any questions or requests!

We have boarded our dog on 3 occasuons. All 3 were a disaste of sorts. Than came Nicole I liked what s he wrote about t herself and her love of animals large and small! I very much liked her property. Lots of space. Well...it was a rousing success! She kept in touch and sent great pics. Of need a great furry sitter I highly recommend Nicole. If give her 10 if there was one!!!
She was absolutely amazing. She was welcoming to me and my dog right off the bat She sent me frequent updates and pictures just to ease my nerves about my first dog sitter experience. She even let me extend my reservation with her when I got called into work unexpectedly for the second day in a row- Awesome Sitter!
nicole was my first pet sitter with my new puppy. She was great. I am very happy with her care and details regarding my puppy
Nicole knows her dogs! She taught one of our dogs to sit...just like that! They loved the time she spent with them. She knows so much, is kind and gentle! Great sitter!

Information Nicole V. would like to know about your pet
How are they around other dogs? Are they reactive to any actions or objects? Do they have any allergies? Are you currently working on any particular behaviors? Are there any bad habits I should be aware of? Are there any specific dietary instructions? No breed preferences, I love them all.
A typical day
I am open to suggestions of where to go on walks, especially if your dog enjoys a certain route. If you don't have any particular route or park in mind, I like to do a walk in the area, or Google the nearest park to you. I like to be mindful of what your dog is comfortable with, so if they're good with other dogs or not so much, walk time will go in accordance. For play time, that's up to your pup. If they like to play tug-o-war for the entire time after a walk when I'm sitting, I am totally up for that. If it's fetch, face timing their momma for a little, or lots of pets, I'd love to do that too, but I like to ask what you usually do with them that they enjoy, and do whatever that is, so let me know!
