It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood with all my Paw Pals! Hello, My name is Nicole and I have always wanted to live in a neighborhood with so many dogs. I've met so many wonderful, loyal, fun, and friendly companions from Rover and PAWS Chicago. I'd be so honored to help your puppy or dog with their feeding, potty break, walk, getting outside to smell the fresh air, and observing nature. I received my Dog Walking Certification from IAP Career College in October of 2019. To gain dog walking experience, I have volunteered with PAWS Chicago in September of 2019. I have completed 126 volunteer hours currently as of December of 2020. I participated in helping cheer on PAWS Chicago Marathon runners and assisting guests at PAWS FurBall. Through my volunteer service, I was able to get an understanding of collars/ harnesses, dog behavior, body language, canine communication, communication signals, appeasement behaviors, greeting a dog, respecting a dog's space, approaching safely, being aware of surroundings, and redirecting the walk if any potential triggers. I want to provide a safe, calm and happy walk for all my Paw Pals. The best part of volunteering for me is being able to spend time loving and caring for dogs and puppies as they get ready for their foster, adoption and forever homes. In support of the Paw Pals that need medical care, I have donated $175 to Paws Chicago. PAWS Chicago is a No Kill Shelter that provides low cost medical care to pets in need, helping save so many pets lives. So will you please, Please will you be...my Paw Pal? I DO NOT DO CAT CARE, as I am allergic to cats. Home I am house sitting in must not have CATS. I am very excited to start my new adventure in Overnight sitting for my repeat Paw pals. I look forward to spending night with my Paw Pals, reading my Paw Pals a bedtime story, and tucking my Paw Pals into bed! I may be on a walk or drop-in with dog or puppy and may not be able to respond right away to requests being made. I will respond if busy and get back to request as soon as I can. Requests being made past 10 pm., I will receive and respond following morning. For first time dog walk or drop-ins, I'd like to arrange a meet and greet before booking. I'd love to show you my portfolio of photos from my adventure with Paws Chicago and my Paw Pals on Rover. Take a look through my photos and the adventures I have had over the past two( soon to be 3) years on Rover. I do try to the best of my ability to get as many photos of your dogs walk or drop-in in. TOTAL ROVER WALKS &/OR DROP-INS : 2,198 from December 2019- February 2023 TOTAL ROVER DOGS &/OR PUPPIES WALKED: 96 I am Vaccinated and Boosted for Covid 19. I am recently boosted with bivalent as of January 2023. If you or someone in your household is sick ( with the Flu and especially with COVID), please let me know so I can take safety precautions by wearing a Kn95. Thank You Please have all necessary leashes/ harnesses in good condition. Please have your dog or puppy's collars and tags on. We can play in clients backyard if fenced properly and no way of escaping( will be supervised at all times).

We had an unexpected trip and asked Nicole to house sit for us. We had done walks before but never a house sitting and we were a bit apprehensive. However, we had a great history with Nicole and she did a great job! Continuous communication and all the play and cuddles your pup could ask for.

Breeds I am compatible with are Dachshunds, Schnauzer, Miniature Schnauzer, Brussels Griffon, Maltese, Maltese Poodle, Toy Poodle, Pomeranian, Yorkshire Terrier, Cockapoo, Bichon Frise, Papillon, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, English Springer Spaniel, Miniature Pinscher, Havanese, Shih Tzu, Jack Russel Terrier, Welsh Corgi, Beagle, English Foxhound, Foxhound, Great Pyrenees, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Bernese Mountain Dog, Goldendoodle, Labradoodle, Bernedoodle, Old English Sheep Doodle, Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, Anatolian Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Rhodesian Ridgeback, English Bulldog, and Pug. My preference is for breeds that are friendly and trained. No aggressiveness, No hard pulling or tugging on the leash, No leash reactivity. I require that your dog is properly leash trained, so that the walk will be safe, stress-free and no injuries are acquired to me by such behaviors. Let me know if there are any behaviors( afraid of noises, toy possessiveness, shy, chases squirrels, gets worked up around other dogs) or special needs I should be aware of.
A typical day
I will provide your dog(s) and / or puppy with physical and mental stimulation. We can play with Puzzles, Fetch, Tug, and Walks/ Jog around neighborhood. I can give belly rubs or massage and read to them.

Availability
I am available Monday and Friday, 8 am - 3 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, 8 am- 6 pm, for walks and drop-ins. My last walk will be 2-2:30pm on Monday and Friday, 5:30-6pm Tuesday through Thursday, none after that. I work part-time Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 4-12 pm. Friday, Saturday , Sunday and Monday evening I work part time and may not be able to answer your requests right away while at work. I am available for overnight house sitting. Please be mindful of last minute cancellations. Thank You so kindly.
