A nurse with some extra time😌

Pet care experience

I'm a recent nursing school graduate and just moved back home to Gig Harbor! I've worked as a nurse, a patient care technician, and as a certified nursing assistant, so I enjoy caring for those around me. I love all sized dogs, but big dogs seem to be the best running mates. I also have two senior dogs of my own at home, so I’ve been taking care of them, friends’ dogs, and family dogs!

Nicole was amazing with our 2 dogs! After a week with our 2 labs, they were happy, tired, calm and our house was clean. She went above and beyond by brushing the dogs, doing some work outside, and cleaning inside. She sent pics and videos while we were away and both dogs looked so happy. Our dogs have some quirks and both take various medications. She was really comfortable managing their "issues". We highly recommend Nicole for house / dog sitting. We will definitely call her again!

Nicole is incredible! :) She is extremely helpful, kind, caring, resourceful, hardworking, & insightful. I knew when looking for a dog walker for the first time ever for my newly adopted dog that Nicole would be a perfect fit :) She is a Nurse & genuinely cares SO MUCH about people & pets! She gave my dog, Coco TONS of love, affection, care, & attention while I was at work for the day. She took my dog on an amazing walk through a beautiful local park. Nicole made sure my dog, Coco had the absolute best day. I had such a stress-free day at work & I felt so confident & comforted knowing my dog was with Nicole :) When I came home from work Coco was so happy and calm after such an amazing day she spent with Nicole! Anyone would be so lucky to have her care for their animal: seriously! THANK YOU SO MUCH, NICOLE! :)

Nicole loves every dog she sees and must stop to say hello. She loves to take the dogs for walks and is constantly interacting with them. She has her own dogs and knows how to treat them with love.

I’ll always make sure your dog is leashed when we’re out and about and will always send pics when I pick them up! If you aren’t home when I’m just taking them for a walk, I’ll always let ya know when I pick them up and when I drop them off!! (Emphasis on me sending you pics of your dog because I love dogs)

Information Nicole S. would like to know about your pet

Since my work training is virtual, I’d want to know your dog’s energy level. I’ll always do my best to wear them out during my lunch break and after work, but I do need to stay relatively focused for the beginning chunk of the day. Thank you so much for considering me to take care of your pups and I look forward to hearing from you!!

A typical day

I just started a residency position as a new graduate nurse, so my time is split between class and work. Luckily, since it is just a residency, my work days are only 8 hours long. In between the two, I walk/run the Cushman Trail going about 3 miles each time. If you’re dog loves walks, then I’ll take them with me!

Since moving back home I’ve picked back up on Rover! I stay fairly active, and since my dogs are both seniors, they struggle to keep up with me these days when I take them for walks/runs.
