Hello! I'm Nicole! I am a Queer POC living in Portland with a big ol' heart full of love for my animal friends. I have been raising animals since childhood (rabbits, lizards, snakes, dogs, rats, fish... you name it!) and have shared a home with an animal roommate or two for the past 15 years. Most recently, I've been dog-mom to Kacey, a 2 year old Pit Bull Mix who loves to play cuddle. Kacey plays well with other dogs and loves sharing walks and having friendly pups over to stay and play in our large garden/farm! She is also a great house guest, create trained and typically travels with me (a note for house-sitting clients). I am open to caring for all animal types: pups and kittens, elder pets, pet with medical needs, and animals that may need extra training, patience or care. I have space for an extra crate and gates in the house so everyone can have their space as needed. And we can schedule a meet-and-greet for the dogs before day care or boarding. I'd love to share some of my love with your fur babies, whether its daily check ins, walks, house stays or boarding at my place. Services Boarding and Day Care We have room for up to two dogs or cats at a time! There are two cats who live nearby, but can be kept away if your animal needs their own space. We have space for 1 crate available for small to medium sized pets if your are training or prefer crating your dog. We are lucky to live on a nice acre with a fenced in yard and access to many creeks and trails in SE. House/Pet Sitting If your are looking for someone to hold down the home front while you are away, look no further! My remote work means that I can come to your place to care for animals over night, keep up with chores and anything else I can help with around the house. Kacey usually comes with me and is an excellent house guest! Drop-in Visits I typically work from home and have flexible hours which means I can offer home visits as needed through the workday. Whether is a feeding, medication time, or a general wellness check for an animal with special needs, I can be there for your pet! Daily Walks I also offer daily walks (AM, lunchtime, or evening)! Please let me know if your pup enjoys walking and hiking with a pack or if they do better with focused one-on-one walks. Also, if there is certain training or behaviors you are working on with your dog I will gladly spend some extra time (and treats) to help enforce their training at home.
