Pet care experience
I was raised with pets as a child (dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, and rats) and continued to raise pets once I started my own family. I foster dogs for a local dog rescue and I volunteer at our local animal shelter. My husband, children, and I all take exceptional care of our own animals as well as the animals in our care! I have professional experience walking dogs, cat sitting (visits), and in my home boarding.

Thank you Nicole for taking such good care of our little guy. You have such a dog friendly home and I could tell from visiting before his stay and from the pictures you sent that he felt at home with you and your family. My favorite moment was dropping him off and the kids remembering him from the short visit. They were so excited to see him!
Nicole was super responsive and reliable for our first go with Rover! Our nervous cats never came out to see her (not surprised, they are pretty neurotic), but she sent under-bed photos of them each day. I would completely rely on Nicole again.

I take and follow notes of each client’s pets routines, and requests. I believe trying to stick to a pets routine the best I can when their owner is away along with lots of love is the best way to put an animal at ease! We own our home in a safe and friendly neighborhood with a community park and open space with in walking distance.

It is very important to be sure your pet will be comfortable and at ease when in our care. Making sure your pet is comfortable and can safely be around children and other animals is a must.
A typical day
My children and I are very active in exploring our local outdoors. We love walking and exploring near by parks and open spaces and often include at least one of our dogs. Any dog in our car will undoubtedly enjoy the open space and freedom to explore what nature has to offer (even while leashed). Our backyard also offers enough space to throw around your dogs favorite toys and even run some laps. We also frequent the large community park as well as a open space for walking, hiking, and exploring that is walking distance from our home.

Availability
Every morning begins with myself and my family sharing the morning pet chores, feeding the dogs, refreshing dog water, checking and refreshing the guinea pigs food and water, and letting the chickens out to free range as well as checking and refreshing their food and water. By mid day we usually return chickens to their run until late afternoon, and also refresh the guinea pigs hay and all animals water as needed. I generally have my own or other dogs to walk mid day and the day ends with once again feeding the dogs and refreshing all waters and the other animals food. To end the night the chickens are safe in their coop, the guinea pigs settle down and our dogs curl up on our bed or in their favorite “den” under the bed.
