I love caring for animals, and would welcome the opportunity to meet and care for your fur baby! I understand that pets are family members, and I will care for yours as if they are my own. I have owned a variety of animals since childhood; dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I am an avid animal lover, but dogs hold my heart! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and have owned small, medium and large dogs. I have had a variety of dogs in my pack; a black lab mix, a golden retriever mix, a pekingese, a shitzu, two pit mixes, and a border collie mix. Having such a variety of dog personalities to care for has taught me to be prepared for pretty much anything! I have a special place in my heart for rescue pets, and have adopted several. I have taken classes on positive reinforcement training and clicker training techniques, and am an advocate for positive training methods. I find these methods are especially beneficial for rescued pets as it helps boost their confidence and gives them positive associations and experiences to build on!
