Pet care experience
I have always lived with at least two dogs every year of my life, plus all my other pets; I plan on becoming an exotics vet, so the more experience I get with caring for other peoples' pets, the more experience I will gain for my prospective career. Animals are my life! I am capable of caring for any type of dog, but my preferences are for larger dogs, as I can play with them without fearing that I'll harm them. I've had golden retriever/lab mixes, pit bull/boxer mixes, beagles, and a German shepherd in the way of dogs; almost all were rescues and were trained by myself and my family. I know how to care for other small mammals and reptiles, as well, such as chinchillas, squirrels, ferrets, cats, snakes, chameleons, lizards, and various types of birds.

Nicole was great! She watched our rowdy brood of three--one very large lab and two smaller frisky dogs. She loves larger dogs, but also took exceptional care of our little guys. She loves animals, and is pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Nicole is responsible, loving, and effective at interacting with all different personalities, sizes, and breeds of dogs. We are thrilled to have found her, and would highly recommend her to anyone else looking someone to keep their pets happy and safe while they are away! Thank you again Nicole.

I would most like to know how well they interact with other animals, so I can know whether I can take them to dog parks or even my own home to socialize. Their diet and how often they eat is information that would be important, as well as what their favorite toys or games are. I prefer large dogs, but can just as easily care for smaller dogs.
A typical day
Most walks will be around the neighborhood the dog lives in, as it would be territory familiar to said dog. Depending on their comfortability with cars and the proximity of the house to Quiet Waters Dog Park, I may drive him or her over to the park and walk him or her around there and let him or her socialize with other dogs in the play area. If the yard in your house is large enough, I wouldlove to play fetch and chase them aorund the yard until we're both out of breath, or play tug-of-war with them!
