Our family dog is 12-years-old. She has several medical conditions and requires lots of care. She is on 4 medications and home made food. Considering all this, our life was predictable and calm until my college-student child brought home an abandoned cat. Keeping everyone happy is a balancing act. I work really hard to make sure get attention. The cat is just a year-old, so we play A LOT. Our dog wants to be comforted and she is a lap dog. My pets have different needs because the are at different stages in life. I work very hard to make sure they both feel loved and cared for. I don't leave them at home a lot. They both travel really well!! Peace reigns at home.
