Pet care experience
I'm that person on the street who looks lovingly at your dog wishing he and I could meet. I grew up all my life with dogs and would love a dog of my own. However, because I live in a small apartment and like to travel, I don't feel able to commit to one full time at the moment. What's the next best thing? To help dog owners take care of their dogs! If you book for drop-in visits or walks, I'll send you a text update at every visit letting you know how your loved ones are doing. If you want I'll even send a picture! I’m a PhD student, which allows me a lot of flexibility at the moment. However, I’m generally unavailable on Fridays.

Nicole is fantastic with dogs. She takes great care of her parents' dog, always being sure he gets a good walk, enough to eat, and some play time. She's very responsible, and can always be counted on to do whatever she is supposed to, and do it well. Further, she absolutely loves dogs, and getting to take care of anyone's pet would be a dream come true for her--and probably for the dog, too.

Please let me know the breed, age, approx. weight, energy level, and whether your pup is well leash trained! I love ALL dogs and I'm experienced with dogs who pull on leashes, so dogs up to about 80lbs who pull are absolutely fine. If you have a really big, strong dog then they need to be well trained on a leash, or else they'll be taking me for the walk ;) Also I'd want to know the number of the vet you use JUST IN CASE, as well as any health conditions your dog might have and how you help manage them. Any quirky behaviors are also good to know. When I was a teenager, I had a dog who NEEDED her security blanket, and she would often gnaw on it until she fell asleep. If we hired a sitter, I'd want to let them know that this is normal and fine!
