I have looked after dogs, my own and others, for over 20 years and have been dog-sitting since I was a teenager. My husband & I are both teachers, but we are home practically full-time outside of the typical school schedule. We love actively playing with dogs, keeping them happy and healthy. We regularly take our own dog to Portland's many dog parks and on long hikes. As long as weather permits, I like to give dogs plenty of outdoor exercise each day. When caring for someone else's pup, we like to stay true to the dog's regular routines so they feel as comfortable as possible. But we also like to spoil them with plenty of affection and snuggles.
