Pet care experience
I began dog and house sitting with my mother at the age of 10. It was always so fun for me as I was not allowed to have a pet of my own. As I grew up, my mother stopped the work but my desire to continue has always remained. I have a 4 year old gentle spirited son who loves animals but at this time we are unable to have one of our own. Rover allows me to enjoy the company of a pet, teach my son responsibility if the situation allows, and generate extra income for my home buying goals! I will treat your pet as if they are my own.

Nicole provided last minute week-long house sitting care for my senior dog. She was responsive and left the house clean. My boy appeared to be well cared for when we were gone. I would recommend her!
Our Kenzie is a senior with hip problems needing gentle attention and medication. Nicole was excellent at providing for her needs. It's obvious that Nicole is an animal lover who cares. She sent updates and pics. We highly recommend her and plan to request her services for our future pet care needs.

During overnight weekday stays (or multiple day drop-in morning & evening visits) I always drop-in during my lunch hour to make sure your furry family is getting the company & attention they need while you’re away. Relax knowing you will return to a happy pet inside of a home that is- at minimum- just as you left it, if not better!

How your pets schedule will be affected while you’re away means a lot to me. I will always try my hardest to accommodate their needs while keeping things as routine for them as possible to avoid stress and confusion. If your pet digs under fences, likes to sneak through open doors or startles easy by unexpected company (doorbell, food delivery), please alert me to be cautions to these tendencies. None of these things are an issue but will require a little bit of extra diligence on my behalf. I also appreciate knowing about barking and jumping habits for safety.
A typical day
Going for walks is a great activity for everyone & typically I only feel comfortable doing so while your pup is leashed. If allowed by you & enjoyed by them, car rides are also a great adventure.

Availability
I work a typical M-F 8-5 with flexible options for an hour lunch. I am available any of the 7 days in a week. I would love to become a regular part of your pets routine- weather you need a lunch hour potty break because your office is too far, an evening dog walk to cover the kids soccer game, or a week long in-home sitter during your family vacation this summer- let me help your family this season!
