Pet care experience
I have always loved animals and have owned three dogs, a cat, and two Guinea pigs throughout my lifetime. I am a teacher, but am currently taking the year off to be with my new baby girl. I would be available to come to your home multiple times a day to check in on your pets. My experience with dogs is extensive. As a high-schooler I volunteered at an animal shelter where I walked, fed, and trained the adoptable dogs. In college I worked as a dog-groomer at a boarding facility, where I handled baths, brushing, nail-trims, and ear and teeth cleaning. I am experienced and comfortable with lots of different breeds, ages, and personality types. I'll be your dog's new best friend!

While I am comfortable with all behaviors, I would only bring my daughter around baby-friendly dogs. Please let me know if your dog needs a kid-free environment or has any behaviors you are working on. Please let me know if your dog has any things he does not like (e.g. no touching ears or nails, no approaching food bowl, etc.). For walks, let me know your dog's leash training level. I would love a dog who is super people friendly!
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch or tug, and give lots of love! I am also willing to work on leash training and basic obedience. When I'm with your dog, I will keep them engaged with any toys or treats you have, as well as sing songs and talk to them in my best doggy voice.

Availability
Since I am a stay at home mom, my schedule is fairly open. If your dog is good with kids, and we are both comfortable, I would love to bring my daughter along for walks (safely confined in a stroller and kept out of reach). If the dog is a good fit for our situation, I would have lots of flexibility. If I would need to visit your dog without my daughter, times would be more limited, but I am happy to try!
