In March 2020, after 10 years, I had to say goodbye to my best friend Chance after a battle with Cushings Disease. At 22 years old, Chance, a Husky/Boxer, became my very first dog. Absent the mother, I had to learn to bottle feed him and do everything that a mother does for a newborn pup. It was truly a unique and rewarding experience and I learned a lot over the years. However, the grief after losing him was extremely difficult to overcome, so a friend suggested I jump on Rover and it might help. Therefore, caring for your furry family member is more than additional income, its an experience I miss more than anything. I am just not ready to rescue any dogs of my own at this time, so I truly enjoy the time I get to spend with your pets. I also grew up with cats as a child into early adulthood and I love cats and rats/guinea pigs. I am reliable, easy to get a hold of, responsible, and have common sense when it comes to animals. If you book a drop-in for your dog, I will feed the pup, play with them, and of course walk the pup if you want or just hang out in the house or backyard. If you book a drop-in for a cat, I will feed and play with the kitty and also clean the cat box and make sure areas are clean before leaving. If you have any rodent pets in addition to the cat and/or dog, there will be no extra charge to feed/water.
