Pet care experience
I have spent my life living and working with animals as a former farm-kid, biologist, and veterinary technician, so I love being outside and I am comfortable around animals of all types, sizes, ages, and attitudes. I specialize in caring for pets that need a little extra attention: big boisterous puppies, administering medication, non-traditional animals, soothing anxious pets, extended travel, and more~ I am currently living in Monroe with my tripod cat, Cosmo, and work weekdays with some flexibility in my schedule. I enjoy long walks at the park and would especially love to sit therapy dogs as I can take them to work with me! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Nicole stopped in to take care of my cat while I was gone for a week - and when I got back, I could tell she had received amazing care. The house was so clean compared to how I left it, and overall I'm very happy with everything.
I couldn’t of asked for anything more! Absolutely amazing. It was a long trip and my dogs are old and not in good health. Nicole allowed us a full week of not worrying. Left a sweet note and the house was spotless! So thankful for her!
This was our second time having Nicole stay with our pups, and we could not ask for a better caretaker! She gives them lots of love and playtime, always keeps us informed, and is the most respectful, contientious, and reliable houseguest!
I got home to such a tidy, neat house and my two girls really loved Nicole. I am a paranoid pet parent so I was nervous to leave my cats but Nicole made me feel comfortable! I will definitely continue booking with her in the future.

Please notify me if your dog is aggressive with other dogs, has any noise or touch triggers, has allergies, is food/toy aggressive, or gets separation anxiety. I am vet tech trained and am willing to administer medication in any form if needed.
A typical day
Short walks, long walks, fast walks, and slow walks. Dogs of all types and energy levels are welcome with me. I am sensitive to heat-limitations when working with pets outdoors, especially with young or elderly pups. I would be happy to do light grooming if needed including brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trims (if behaved).

Availability
I work weekdays (8-5) with limited flexibility in my schedule for lunch-time visits near the garden district. I particularly love early morning walks! For my safety and yours, I book meet and greets for all clients BEFORE I book services. I reserve same-day booking for current active clients only.
