The number one reason to choose me to care for your fur baby is that I love dogs and I work from home as an Operational Manager for a medical company based out of Dallas, TX. Having the luxury of working from home, I get to be with my fur babies and yours all day. Other pet sitters in the area have the same life style as most Americans where they have to leave their pets at home for eight or more hours a day to go to work. This is not the case with me. I have a very demanding and stressful full time job. The pet services I provide are for me, my passion and hobby. I'm sure you have heard that by just petting a dog a day reduces your blood pressure levels. I guess this is why I have three of my own and enjoy taking care of others to reduce my stress level. A little bio of my experience and love for dogs: I did not have a dog growing up and so after I got married, my husband, Chris and I bought two dogs immediately! The first fur baby we fell in love with was Koa. We rescued Koa from a puppy mill. Koa is a male Maltese and is six years old now. A few weeks after getting Koa we adopted a pure breed female Boxer from a breeder in Austin, Texas. Our boxer, Maui is also six years old. For three years it was my husband, our two dogs and myself. After three years with Koa and Maui I was itching to add another dog to our pack. My husband was against adding a third dog so I started volunteering at a No Kill Animal Shelter in Dallas, Texas so I could be around as many dogs as I wanted. I convinced my husband to visit me at the shelter one day while I was volunteering and we left with our third dog!:) We fell in love with a three year old Boxer mix and named her Hana. Soon after we added Hana to our family my husband took a promotion in Flagstaff, AZ with his company. We live in a very large town home with a fenced in back yard near nature trails. I can utilize the five separate floors to accommodate specific doggy needs. Having three dogs and a toddler, adding a fourth dog is out of the question. I have that itch again to rescue another so this is why I am on Rover.com. I love my three dogs like they are humans and would treat yours the same. All three of my dogs have pet insurance and are all micro-chipped. Koa, Maui and Hana are up to date on their vaccines and are on Sentinel for heart worm, flea and tick prevention. Obviously they get along with other dogs very well and they love to meet and play with new dogs. I look forward to caring for your fur baby when you need a break, vacation or emergency.
