I have grown up with dogs, horses, cats and other animals for most of my life. At age 12, I even organized a neighborhood "Dog Show" complete with an agility course which raised money to purchase trees for the HB dog park! We had two beautiful Golden Retrievers growing up, one of which I got for my 16th birthday. I worked VERY hard to train her, socialize her, and of course I didn't have to work at all to love her. I rescued my last dog, Wyatt, six years ago. He was the apple of my eye and my "fur baby". I loved taking him for hikes, adventures, camping, long runs and beach trips. Knowing how much he gained from being outside and getting solid exercise is what made me want to join Rover. Unfortunately Wyatt recently passed. Our current pup, Dakota, is our new rescue from the streets of Armenia. At one year old and fresh into a new environment, she has been thriving. She is a sweet mannered, people pleasing, adventuring-but-mostly-couch-potato kind of dog. We are often found on the trails of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands or at Dog Park. I would love to provide walks, jogs, or any kind of adventure you'd like for your pup!
