Pet care experience
I have had dogs of all breeds, sizes and needs for my whole life. While I am always up to exercise more active dogs, my family has 4 senior dogs - 2 of which are deaf and 1 also blind - and I am accustomed to dealing with many of the health needs that arise as dogs age. I do not have my own cats, but many of my friends and relatives do and I have sometimes looked after them for short times. I have also kept various reptiles since I was a teenager and am comfortable providing exotic pet care in addition to furry friends.

I live with my parents and as we have our own senior dogs at least one of us is at home at all times. Our yard is fenced, there is a ramp on and off the deck to accommodate small/disabled/older dogs and the neighborhood is sidewalked, making walks frequent and safe. We have 4 medium/larger dogs who have always played well with others as long as the other dog is not aggressive. We dog sit often and they are used to strange dogs. My dad is allergic to cats, so unfortunately I cannot cat sit at home.

Before sitting, I would like to know your pet’s habits and routines; things that might make them feel more at home during their visit. It is also very important to know how they are with other dogs, what their feeding, walking and bathroom habits tend to be, as well as any other information they need or enjoy. All breeds and sizes are welcome!
A typical day
My neighborhood is very well-pathed for walks ranging from 10 minute jogs to hour-long strolls which I am always eager to do. My own dogs enjoy playing with others as well, but the older ones tire quickly leaving me plenty of time to entertain more energetic guests.

I work a flexible full time afternoon job, which will allow me availability on both weekends and week days if given a two week’s notice.
