I am a fourth year veterinary student at Virginia Tech on clinical rotations looking to make some extra money. I love hanging out with animals in my free time as well as during my lack of free time. I've worked as a veterinary technician for several years. I have the knowledge and experience to care for a variety of animals; anything from administering medications, to dealing with sick or elderly animals, I'm your girl! I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I take my dogs for long walks every day and occasionally for a run or hike. I'd be more than happy to take your furry friend along with us as well! **NOTE: If your dog is boarding at my home and is here for more than 10 hours on a given day, you will be charged the full rate for an additional day! example: your dog arrives Monday morning, spends two nights, but leaves Wednesday evening, you will be charged for 3 days!

Nicole was wonderful. She was quick to reply, easy to book with, flexible with pick up/drop off, and happy to take my goofy dog on for a week while I was away. Barley had a blast staying with her and loved his time chasing tennis balls, getting loved on, and hanging out with her cats. It was so nice knowing that he was in good hands while I was on vacation making it a stress free trip. Nicole was great about keeping in touch and put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend using her if you are in need of a sitter.
Nicole has done a great job watching my older, diabetic dog along with my two cats. She keeps me updated, and goes the extra distance to keep all of my animals happy while I'm away!
Nicole and her pup Charlotte took great care of my border collie Gizmo. Nicole sent me pictures showing me that Gizmo was settling in. Nicole followed my feeding and general directions. I would highly recommend her!
We just can't say enough about Nicole. She answered my request for help immediately and we met with her and her dog Charlotte before we left town. Right away we were comfortable with Nicole, how she interacted with our dogs and before we knew it all of the dogs were running around in the back yard having a great time. During our home visit Nicole was very informative about her experience and it was obvious she has a great love of animals. She was very attentive to all our instructions concerning our dogs habits and their feeding schedule. While we were away on our trip she provided regular updates and photos, was immediately responsive to our texts and even recorded the football game for us. When we arrived back home our dogs were happy and the house was just as we left it. We will definitely call upon her to keep our dogs again and highly recommend her to others looking for a responsible sitter! Thanks again Nicole & Charlotte!

Does your dog get along with other dogs or cats? your pup must get along with other dogs! Mine is super friendly. As long as your pup is not overtly aggressive towards cats, we should be fine. Is your dog aggressive in anyway shape or form? give me a heads up Is your dog crate trained? I prefer they be crated if I have to leave the house for a bit, but we can manage if not. They are welcome to sleep in my bed at night! Does your dog have any medical conditions or strict diet I should be aware of? Not a problem! just want to provide the best care I can ! Does your pup bark a lot?
A typical day
During your pups stay we will go on several short walks a day including frequent potty breaks! I have a fenced in back yard where your dog can run around or play ball. T If your pup enjoys running or hiking i'd be more than willing to bring them along with me. Willing to take your dog to the dog park if that is okay with you! I have a 3 year old coonhound that is very friendly and makes a great playmate. Plenty of toys in the house and lots of cuddles to spare and they are more than welcome to sleep in my bed! In addition, I am willing to perform/reenact any weird ritual/habits you may or may not have with your dog.
