8+ Yrs of Compassionate Expert Care
Pet care experience
Howdy! I'm Nicole, a certified professional dog trainer and lifelong dog enthusiast. My world has always been filled with canines and a love for understanding behavior. This fueled my passion for learning about dog training, and obtaining a degree in Psychology. With 8+ years of professional experience, you can rest assured that when your pup is with me — it’s receiving the best care available. I have thousands of hours under my belt from volunteering at shelters with dogs since the 6th grade, graduating from a Canine Behavior Apprentice Program, earning my CPDT-KA, and specializing as a Master in Aggression. This has allowed me to become highly skilled with handling a variety of breeds and behaviors; from leash-reactive walkers to cuddly couch potatoes. I’m a fan of them all ♥️ I'm not just a trainer; I'm also a dedicated caregiver. I’m trained in Red Cross Pet First Aid, and my own dog has glaucoma. This taught me the ins and outs of special care. So administering meds or eye drops? No problem! Your furry family member's time with me means fun, safety, and lots of learning. Whether it's reinforcing good habits or just enjoying playtime, I've got it covered. Let's make your dog's next walk - or drop-in visit, a tail-wagging adventure!
Reviews
Nicole was very good about keeping us up-to-date while we were away, which is super important to us. She is responsible and trust worthy. She stayed at our house to watch our two cats and 80lb dog, and had no problem administering eye drops to one of our cats. She also sent pictures which we loved.
Nicole is perfect for this because she’s good with every dog she interacts with. She makes them feel safe, happy, and loved. She’s been very good with my own dog and has given me good advice for him. Nicole will make sure your dog is treated the best way it can be and will ensure it’s safety every moment he/she is entrusted into her care.
Nicole is a wonderful, dependable person with a huge heart and love for animals. Not only does she love animals, but animals lover her as well and flock to her. She is kind and patient and great at keeping to a pets’ routine. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my pets. 10/10 would absolutely recommend Nicole.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is a top priority for me. I always make sure that I am present, and focusing on the current moment, to ensure that a dog is safe in my hands. As well as double checking gear to make sure everything is secure before use. Due to my experience with aggressive dogs, I understand the importance of situational awareness with any pet — and keep an eye to make sure the environment we’re walking in is safe as well.

Information nicole k. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has special needs, medical limitations, or behavioral issues. I am comfortable working with all three, but would need to know beforehand.
A typical day
I love to introduce dogs to different food puzzles and get their brain working! It is so much fun to watch the dogs solve the puzzles, and have a great time while also being mentally stimulated. I have k9 kilmb tables and wobble boards I use to work on confidence and conditioning - if your dog is a good fit! Walks are balanced with structure, as well as breaks to sniff. If your dog is a candidate for long line (20 feet+ leash) work, I have done hiking field trips as well. My focus is on helping your dog get the exercise and decompression time they need to feel fulfilled; since each dog is different — the activities each dog experiences might be slightly different. I do make sure to discuss any limitations or expectations with clients ahead of time, to ensure I’m providing the best for your dog.
