Pet care experience
I worked in a dog daycare for 2 years where I was responsible for about 50 dogs. I currently am in school to get my license as a Veterinarian technician. I also work at a animal clinic in DC. I have a little dog, Ralph, who I adopted shortly after he was rescued from a blizzard in 2015. I have also cared for many cats, both my own and owned by others. I have a little experience with small birds and fish.
Reviews
Nicole is very responsive and friendly. Flexible when I needed to change dates. One of my cats was on antibiotics and needed to be kept an eye on, and she did a good job checking on him. Unfortunately, she didn't set up the auto-feeder correctly, but it was partially my fault for not showing her how to use it.
Our 60LB black lab Woodley is in great hands with Nicole. When Woodley saw Nicole about a week after his stay with her he couldn't contain his excitement and clearly was extremely fond of her- definitely the mark of a great dog sitter. Woodley can get stressed out while away from home and like a typical lab, tries to eat everything he finds on the street. We felt at ease given Nicole's training in veterinary medicine and obvious love of animals. She took great care of Woodley for the week we were gone and we know he looks forward to his next visit with her.
Nicole is an excellent sitter. She has tended to my spoiled 18-year-old cats, who love her! She is careful and gentle, and will take excellent care of your pets, too. Nicole is completing vet tech training, which adds an extra level of comfort when she is caring for my pets, knowing that she has the knowledge to act in their best interests of anything happens. Personally, she is a lovely, friendly person; someone you will immediately fell comfortable with. Nicole is a great choice of sitter, and I reckoned her highly! You and your pets will love her!
Nicole cat sat for me over the holidays and was terrific. My vet referred her to me. She's great with pets generally AND brings both personal and professional experience. Nicole is attentive to pets' personalities and is willing and able to address their particular needs, including just making sure they're loved and entertained!
