Welcome to Nik Nak Pet Care! Hi, my name is Nicole. I worked in the veterinary field for over six years and cared for five dogs of my own in my lifetime. I began offering pet care full time in July of 2022. I grew up around animals and wanted to be a Veterinarian from a young age. At 22 years of age I began working at an Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist. I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with animals and expand my knowledge. They offered skill sets where we could learn the operations of veterinary assisting which I completed within a year of working at the veterinary hospital. I learned how to take TPR's, place catheter's, administer medications, CPR, emergency medicine and so much more! I worked both as a receptionist and helped out as a veterinary assistant when needed. I was later promoted to Client Service Supervisor where I worked directly with our clients to provide the upmost care. Majority of the clients at my practice relied on me for all their pet care needs. Whether that be morning, midday or evening walks, medication administration (oral and injectable), as well as in-home pet sitting.
