Nicole was wonderful! My cat is very shy - to the point that I drew her a terrible photo of Tofu because I thought she would never see her. To my surprise, she sent me several blurry photos as my cat tried to scurry away, but she did get to see her on the second trip. That little extra effort put my mind at ease. I would absolutely trust Nicole to watch Tofu next time I'm ...

Nicole is especially good at dealing with and walking my senior male dog. She is patient and mindful of my dogs special needs. He respects her commands and LOVES HIS WALKS! I am so glad to have found Nicole to help me give him the exercise that he needs and wants.

Experienced, Kind and Trustworthy!

I’m a dog-sitter because I love playing auntie—showering the pups with affection when they come to visit and then sending them home happy. Sitting also means I get to interact with an interesting variety of dogs: puppies, old guys, Mastiffs, Poodles, hyper guys, and bricks with legs. Every day is different, and at the end of the stay, I get to relax in my quiet house and prep for the next adventure!

What Nicole would like to know about your dog

If you have a dog with special needs, let me know, because they’re my specialty. I’m also very experienced in the care of timid pups that need a soft voice and lots of patience to become comfortable with humans, and hyper dogs that most people don't want to deal with on a stay. Have a jumper? No problem, I can handle it. Chews on everything? That's okay, we can find the right stimulation for your pet.

When Nicole watches your pet

So much depends on the dog! If yours is a big, boisterous pooch, we’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and outdoor time so they can burn off all that energy. But if they’re a shy little lap dog, I’ll set up our home in advance of their visit, with pillows and a cozy kennel available so they can retreat if the cats and kids overwhelm them. But no matter the dog, We’ll walk two times per day, weather permitting, and take frequent potty breaks, usually every two hours, and after eating. I’ll have a variety of appropriately sized toys on hand in case he is active, and couch time if they’re a cuddler. Meals would be separate from the cats, in a quiet area.
