I have two cats who require biscuit making cuddles and play everyday. I groom their fur and shorten their nails as needed. Feeding for them is twice a day and their play incorporates exercise.

A typical day
Tug-o-war is gently done(a dogs jaw is strong, but teeth can still be pulled out). Throw and return is a great activity. Lots of encouragement and praise. Refreshing walks, or if they like a swim, I'm up for that too.

Been around dogs, cats, gerbils, and birds throughout my life. All pets are considered family. They need love, respect, and guidance, too. I have walked dogs, groomed cats, cleaned out kennels, cages, and cat boxes, and play is important even for older pets.
