Love for all the pets

Pet care experience

I first started pet sitting and dog walking as an adolescent for my neighborhood. I cared for our own dogs and cats in our home as well and always dreamed of becoming of veterinarian (until I realized all of the things I didn’t want to do to the animals), so I’ve cared for friends and family member’s pets as well as got my first puppy,Veda, as an adult 10 years ago. She was the love of my life. Then my sweet rescue kitty, Rita. We rescued a second dog about 6 years ago, Miley, and when Veda passed away from a terminal Illness I was heartbroken. We have recently added Vinny, a new rescue puppy to the mix. As all of our pets have been rescues, they have had their fair share of concerns, anxiety, weight, potty issues and more. I’m comfortable with animals that may be shy or nervous to meet new people and willing to meet any pet where they are at.

If I could give Nicole 100000000 stars, I would. She was so incredibly patient with my girls and let them take the time they needed to settle in and feel comfortable. She treated them as her own and I know that they felt cared for and loved. Nicole sent me tons of pictures every day we were gone (which was beyond appreciated). She didn’t hesitate to ask questions and kept us up to date at all times. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her should we go away again! ?

Nicole is the best!!!!! I was so worried to leave my puppy for 5 days for the first time, but as I soon as I drop him off, I felt so much better. Her house is so clean and so welcoming. While she had my dog, she gave me daily updates of how he was eating and sleeping and sent tons of pictures. I highly recommend her!!

Information Nicole H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs including dietary restrictions or allergies. (I will only feed the food you provide for meals but I do like to offer dog treats). Is your pup okay walking on a leash? Are they spayed/neutered? Are they crate trained?

A typical day

A typical day with the pups is to have a morning potty break before meal time. Then after eating another potty break. Usually play time for a bit and then a longer walk around the neighborhood. Then free time or some in home basic training (with treats of course!) another potty break, dinner, potty, play and last call for potty before bed. I always crate for meals and bedtime to ensure everyone’s safety.
