Dogs have simply always been a huge part of my life! From getting to take care of them to being a professional dog sitter, I’ve tried to do everything I can to give them all the happiness in the world. There’s nothing like putting a smile on a dog’s face, and I love being able to give owners the peace of mind they need while they’re away from their best friends. All in all, I just want to give back to animals in every way possible! They’ve always been there for me, so now it’s my turn to be there for them. When I first started sitting through Rover, it was a way for me to get to spend time with dogs since I didn't have one of my own. Since then, we adopted our pup Apollo. He is a very friendly, playful 1 year old. He has a calm temperament and is generally submissive to more dominant dogs. He loves to meet new fur friends and play with them all day. By the end of the day the dogs are always tired and ready to rest! One of the best things about me is that I have a very flexible schedule as a sitter. I currently operate a small succulent design company from my home, which allows me to accommodate schedules that may be a little bit unorthodox. I’m a great fit for owners that have some different requests for their pup, or if there is some need for care outside of “typical business hours.” I’m just happy to oblige when it comes to making you and your pup happy! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet with both of our dogs included. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, I make them my number one priority. From giving them my undivided attention to taking copious notes (if requested), I do everything in my power to make sure that your pup is happy and healthy with me. During the stay, I always send detailed daily updates with as plenty of information related to what we’ve done during the day and how your pup is doing. Of course, those updates will always include tons of great pictures of us having fun together!
