Hey there! My name is Nicole, and I offer pet sitting services for both felines and canines, drop in visits only. I have 8 years of experience in the pet industry. In addition to my professional experience, I have also been working with animals both in the CSRA Humane Society and animals on the streets since I was a young girl. I've always been an adamant member of the rescue community, and I’ve never been able to pass a stray, regardless of my destination or the outfit. The phrase “Sorry girl, I know I’m late to dinner, but I just saw a Pomeranian on Washington Rd! I’m in heels, you ought to see me right now!!” is a phone call that seems to be expected by my friends and family at this point. I began by bringing home an excessive amount of cat litters in particular to spay/neuter, tame, and rehome them into a safer environment. I’ve taken in a number of dogs as well under similar pretenses, most of them picked up seemingly abandoned, often with treatable diseases or puppies deemed unable to find homes quickly enough for the owners’ liking. Others are taken upon the request of the owner surrendering the animal to me directly without the involvement of the county shelter. As a result of my career choice (and a couple of well learned lessons during rescue escapades) I am well trained in animal behavior. In addition to being able to quickly realize signs of distress and discomfort, I am also trained to administering most all medications, safely break up dog fights, and properly monitoring your furbabies.
