Nicole is an absolute natural with dogs. She used to watch our Sharpei Curly when he was older and that dog loved her. When Curly passed we got a dog from a breeder named Barkley who we, to this day, believe was mistreated in some way by the 'breeder'. She was sensitive to his quirks and worked wonders at keeping him calm while we were away. We eventually got a Yorkie named Max, who I hate to say, loves her so much that the dog barely misses us when we're gone. The dog is her shadow, where it would almost frustrate me (he is like that with my wife), but sit doesn't faze her at all. After several drop-in visits and dog walking duty, she eventually house sat for us for close to a month and took care of both Barkley, Max and our 2 cats. She even slept in the bed with the dogs knowing they were prone to barking at the slightest noise otherwise. Our dogs aren't the 'best behaved' or 'easiest' dogs but they're our family pets and even though Barkley is gone we still trust her to watch Max at the drop of a hat.
