Growing up, I was never allowed to have a dog due to family allergies, but that did not discourage me from looking after others! I love all dogs big and small. When I started dating my boyfriend in 2010, I welcomed his big beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog into my heart. Charlie weights 105 pounds and is pure fluff and love! The past seven years of knowing and caring for Charlie has taught me just the kind of gentle but firm and consistent training that larger dogs need. Like babies, dogs need just as much love and attention in order to be at their very best and I have a lot of love to give!! My strongest skill when it comes to caring for dogs is the ability to be dominant when needed, which is extremely important when caring for dogs, especially ones you just meet! You can absolutely trust me with caring for your dog and providing he/she with the care that they deserve! My hobbies include hiking, skiing, and exercise, so I will be able to give your pet the routine that they need in any weather condition. I am a recent graduate pursing a career in the nursing profession. I have a flexible schedule with a class on Wednesdays from 8am-230pm. My weekly study schedule allows me to make times in the morning/night for walk alongs with some afternoons depending on the day! I look forward to caring for your dog and gaining a new doggy friend!
