Pet care experience
*update: May 26, 2021* I am fully vaccinated and I bring my husky on all overnight stays. She is friendly with all dogs and people. My name is Nicole. Since childhood, I have worked with many animals including dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals. I own a husky who I've trained myself, and I have a horse who I've owned since 2008. I have an MSc in Geography and Environmental Systems (Ecology) and a B.S. in Biology; I am knowledgeable about many aspects of organisms, systems, and animal care! Your pet will be happy and healthy in my care! I have owned animals all my life and I have extensive experience house-sitting and animal-sitting. My focus is on providing my clients (both you and your pet!) with exemplary 5 star service. As a previous Johns Hopkins Hospital employee, I learned how to go the extra step and treat every person with empathy and respect. Your comfort when you’re away from your home is my priority! I am happy to meet the needs of my clientele with services such as giving medications when necessary, pampering/cleaning the dog, and specific exercise routines. I have owned a horse for over 12 years who has extensive medical needs, so I am very comfortable with providing the medical attention your pet needs. Tips are appreciated, as Rover does take out 20% of the total cost! I love to take and send my clients lots of photos and videos! I work full time from home. On weekends I am often away from the house for up to 12 hours, as negotiated by the needs of the client. I treat every pet in my care like my own, with love, safe boundaries, and basic command training as needed or preferred by the client.

Nicole was great, and we will definitely book her again for walks and drop in visit services! She worked with us even though we booked her at the last minute, making time to meet our dog with less than 24 hours notice. She loved on our pup Harley when they were introduced and immediately put Harley at ease! Nicole sent plenty of pictures, videos, and detailed updates on how our dog was doing while we were gone. She was great with communication and very professional!
Nicole is fantastic! She is so professional and goes beyond expectations to provide a great service. She sent us tons of pictures and videos of our pets while we were away, so we knew what they were doing every day and felt confident that they were in good hands. My dog and cat love her because she spoils them more than we do, so they can't wait for us to book her again!

I love to keep your pet on the schedule that YOU prefer to maintain stability and happiness for them. Consistent 5 star service is my aim, keeping in mind that it's not just the pet that's my client, but also you! Never feel like you are too particular about your pet's care or routine. It's important that YOU feel at ease while you are away, just as much as your pet should be while in my care. If a pup stays with me, I live on a quiet street in a house with an unfenced yard.
