We offer drop-in visits and dog walking in Port Orchard. Drop-in visits include potty breaks, feedings if necessary, administration of medications, playing, and also hanging out with your pet to keep them company. Dog walking is 30 to 60 minutes of getting out of the house to have fun at the end of a leash while we keep them safe and clean up after them.
Information Nicole F. would like to know about your pet
We will need the name and contact information of your veterinarian. We ask that you write a letter giving permission for us to consent to treatment if your pet has a medical emergency and we can't get in touch with you. We also need your dog to be up-to-date on vaccines. If you have a reactive dog, we need to know about this behavior for our safety and that of your dog. Is your dog barrier reactive? Do they do any resource guarding? We can work with some of these behaviors. Please discuss this with us ahead of time to make sure we are a good fit. We want to be sure everyone is cared for and that there are no bites!
A typical day
What we do with your animal will depend on what they like. Do they like treat puzzles? Kongs? Frisbees? Do they like to get outside and run? Let us know!

Drop-in Visits and Dog Walking!
Pet care experience
My name is Nikki, and I run Nikki and Brandon's pet care with my son. I have been caring for animals for years, and my son has recently joined me. I am teaching him everything I know as we go along. In addition to pet care through this business, I have worked with the Humane Society. I have an extensive understanding of canine, feline, and rabbit behavior. I am also Fear Free certified, which means I have undergone training to reduce fear in animals in a shelter environment. One of my favorite groups to work with at the Humane Society was the scared dogs. It takes a lot of patience to coax them out of their shells and get them to actually leave a kennel for a walk, or even get them to go back in later. It was always very rewarding to me to get a dog outside for a walk and watch them realize they're going to have fun. What this means to you as a pet owner is that I can work with your animal if they have separation anxiety. We offer drop-in visits and dog walking in Port Orchard. Drop-in visits include potty breaks, feedings, administration of medications, playing, cleaning litter boxes, and also hanging out with your pet to keep them company. Dog walking is 30 to 60 minutes of getting out of the house to have fun at the end of a leash while we keep them safe and clean up after them. I've been a dog owner for years. I adopted my first dog (a long-coated German shepherd pup named Jerry) from the Humane Society when I was 20. I had him for 13 years. I have had cats for a number of years as well. Currently we have two rabbits because someone we live with is allergic to cats and dogs. I am comfortable administering many medications, although I don't have experience with IV meds. Please give me full details on what medications your animal needs, when they are needed, and how to best administer them. I'm used to handling animals who don't want to take their medicine, and have a number of tricks up my sleeve to deal with such problems as they arise. Due to my time with the Humane Society and my degree in Psychology, I do not like using negative reinforcement with animals. I don't like prong collars or shock collars. One can accomplish so much more with positive reinforcement. Brandon and I look forward to hearing from you!
