Hello there, my name is Nicole. I am a student at UT Austin and my major is DOG LOVING! (I'm actually a business major). To pet owners, I can guarantee that I will treat and love their dog as if they were my own. Since I mostly sit small dogs, I oft times take them on little adventures with me like going to new parks and sometimes even to eat with me (I don't like leaving my clients unattended). Dog sitting is not just a job for me, it is something I genuinely enjoy and cherish. I love getting to know each new pup's individual personality and feel privileged every time I get a chance to take care of a new furry friend. My Pet Care Experience I fell in love with dogs a solid 16 years ago when I got my first dog. Since then I got my current pooch Bella who I've taken care of and gotten experience with for eight years now. In addition to my personal experience with pets, I also volunteered at the Humane Society as an adoption counselor. Being an adoption counselor entailed a training class where I learned how to handle puppies, how to properly leash and approach dogs, and other essential skills. The best part was that it was my job to try to find the right for home for each one of our doggies. I gained a lot of hands on experience volunteering and am confident I can provide excellent care for all my clients regardless of any special needs they may have. When I sit your dog(s): To my future clients, thank you in advance for considering me to take care of your pup! I understand that they are a part of your family and as such I treat all my clients with utmost attention and care. Dogs and owners will love my attention to detail! Owners will always receive photo updates of their pups; I even like to do a mini-photo shoot which I send to owners after their pup's staycation as a keepsake. As for pups, I love finding something fun for us to do. Your dog will never be bored, or worse yet home alone. From taking doggies to the dog park (with owner's permission), to walks by the river, and sometimes even to PetCo I always have something planned for us. As you can see in my photos I have an adjustable doggie seatbelt so safety is never an issue. I include walks whenever I house sit. If your dog has any special needs or a strict schedule, I have no problem accommodating them! I have sat dogs with special dietary needs before and don't mind taking extra precaution with them.
