Pet care experience
Animals are my passion. I got my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice to work in animal control. I haven't been able to pursue that dream yet, so I am doing the next best thing, and adding 4 paws wherever I can. Currently I work at Riverside in Escanaba. I have experience working in two shelters, with an animal rescue, and a few months of vet teching. I am a mom to 5 kiddos ages 21,15,10,8,&8. We have 2 dogs, and 4 barn kitties. I have experience fostering, training, and some vetting from my time at the animal shelter. I would love to meet your furry baby, and love on them when you are away. 😊 My schedule schedule is a set M-F day shift. I do get an hour lunch that I can use for a dog walk, or drop in visit if you are in town. If you are out of town I could only offer those in the evening or on weekends.

I will keep your dogs on leash outside, unless directed otherwise. We are set far back from the road and have plenty of yard for play. In our home we follow what you do at home. If you crate at night, we will. If you let them sleep on the couch, we will let them on ours. We try to make their stay very similar to the boundries you have set at home.

A typical day
We love to go for walks, play ball, and frisbee. I am currently training my dog in nosework, tracking and agility. I would love to share that with your pup if they would like to learn during their stay or my visit.
